Having a New Stair Carpet Fitted?

It is not usually possible to fit stair carpet properly when there is a stairlift in the way. If you are having new carpet fitted, your carpet fitters will not know how to remove and re-fit the stairlift safely and without damaging it. We have seen many bodged examples of this.

We can remove your stairlift before your carpet fitters arrive and re-install later the same day. The Stairlift will be checked and serviced at the same time and will often be re-installed better than it was originally. Sometimes - often with curved stairlifts, it is more practical to work with the carpet fitters and remove the stairlift in sections as they lay the carpet.
