Straight Stairlifts - New

We can supply and fit various makes and models of stairlift but prefer to stick to the models that we know to be well made and reliable.

We also prefer to get our stairlifts from the manufacturers who operate ethically, provide good technical back up and who we can trust to supply reasonable priced spares, well into the future.

Our preferred supplier for straight stairlifts is Thyssen. Their stairlifts are robust and reliable, they are easily repaired and maintained and spares are priced reasonably.

They offer two models the Homeglide and the Homeglide Extra. They are very similar but the Extra offers more options such as a powered swivel seat.

These two models will be adequate for the needs of most people but we can supply stairlifts from other manufacturers if more suitable for your requirements.

Thyssen Homeglide Stairlift

The Homeglide is an economical entry level stairlift for those who want something

simple and reliable. It is not 'basic' and has most of the features you would expect to

find (but don't always) on more expensive models:

• Rated load - up to 125kg (19st) (145kg Heavy Duty Version)

• Manual Swivel Seat

• 24v DC motor drive

• Lap Belt

• Pressure sensitive edges

• Folds up to be slim and unobtrusive

• Jointed rail

• Automatic Hinged Rail - Extra if needed

This stairlift can be installed in a few hours.

Thyssen Homeglide Extra

The Homeglide Extra has all the features of the Homeglide and offers some additional options as below:

• Choice of upholstery colour

• Powered Swivel Seat

• Footrest Linked to Seat

We try to stock a good selection of reconditioned stairlifts. We are picky about the machines we buy in and only stock good quality, reliable models that are recent and in very good condition. The last thing we want to do is sell you something unreliable, old fashioned or outdated for which we cannot get spares.

Our stock is constantly changing, and consists primarily of Thyssen, Stannah and Handicare models.
